Yes, that’s right kiddies, time to give you a bit more info than you might have wanted.  Ready?  Let’s go:  (courtesy of TMI Tuesday)

1. Do you believe in marriage?  Absolutely.  (I had better since I’m getting married in less than three months!)

2. What is marriage to you?  It’s a combination of things… friendsip, passion, unconditional love. 

3. If you are married, why did you do it? If you are not, why have you not married?  The first time, I married for love, and only love.  However, I was young, naive, and ignored the red flags.  On the upside, however, it taught me a lot about myself, and about what characteristics I wanted (and did not want) in a lifelong partner.

4. Do you believe in divorce?  “believe” in it?  Well, it’s not something I’d recommend, but there are instances where it’s a necessary evil.

5. If you are divorced, why did you do it? If you have not, are there certain circumstances under which you would agree to a divorce?  Oh my… where to start… (that would indeed be TMI)… in short, because I lost myself, and I compromised what I believed in (in terms of the kind of treatment I was allowing myself to be subjected to).

Bonus: Do you believe that same sex marriages are a threat to traditional marriages? A threat?  How so?  Not at all.  I believe that any couple, regardless of gender, should be allowed to celebrate their love in this manner.
